Evergreen Park High School Health Fair
Drs. Stubbs & Neafesy and Ms. Mary Miritello, along with neuroscience graduate students from Loyola University, conducted an outreach activity on March 30, 2011 at Evergreen Park High School. Two booths were presented: one covering neuroscience literature (Brain Facts, Dana Alliance literature, etc.) and a second “Hands On” booth that gave high school students (9-12 grade) & faculty hands-on opportunity to see and learn about brain anatomy of sheep and a human. Also available was a human spinal cord with dura and displayed cauda equina.
